E Ho'i Mai I ka Piko Hula, better known as
'World Invitational Hula Festival', is a dance event in which
dance groups from all corners of the world come to the source
of the Hula, to present and share excellence in the Hula.
In 2006 Halau Hula 'O Mai´Ana is awarded with the
'Aloha Award'. This very special award is given to the individual
or Halau that has demonstrated the truest spirit of ALOHA
and KOKUA throughout the festival. |

From July 2nd until july 4th, 2004, the second European Hula Festival
took place in Waikiki Spa in Zeulenroda, Germany. Dancegroups from
Finland, Great Britain, France, Germany and other European countries
entered this Festival. Halau Hula 'O Mai'ana was chosen, by experted
judges, to be the European Winner in the category 'Polynesian Dance
Formation'.

Hanau Hou Award 2000

Honourable award for maintaining Hawaiian culture in the Netherlands |
April 2000 Conchita Joenoes received the 'Hanau Hou Award' of the Dutch Foundation for Hawaiian Music and Culture.
This award is given 'For exceptionally rendered services to Hawaiian Culture, in the Netherlands as well as abroad'.

E Ho'i Mai I ka Piko Hula, better known as 'World Invitational Hula Festival', is a dance event in which Halau´s from Hawai'i as well as Halau´s from other parts of the world, such as Japan, Mexico, Germany participate.
In 1997 Halau Hula 'O Mai'Ana was chosen by 30 experted Hawaiian judges to be the best visiting Halau for the award 'Combined Halau in Traditional & Contemporary Hula & Language'. |
